See Ya Later

This morning, I got the news that my friend, Kela had passed away. This was not a surprise, as she has been fighting her disease for a long time now. The only solace that I can offer to Kirk and her sons, is that we are not saying "Goodbye" to her. Because of Jesus, we can say, "See Ya Later".

Kela was a very vocal and loving supporter of the contemporary worship ministry at Broadway. Tomorrow will be bittersweet, as we do an entire service of music. I hope it will be a blessing to her family and friends. I know that I will be thinking of her as I sing.
